Tomorrow is the last day of Modex 2020 and by the morning, we’ll know whether our Wall-to-Wall fulfillment solution is MHI Innovation Award-nominated or -winning. Either way, it’s your last chance to see it all in one place until it’s installed in one of your warehouses (or when you schedule a site visit to see it in action inside of one of our customers’ DCs). So, swing by booth #7489 for your chance to see how 6 River Systems is leading the way to faster fulfillment.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be attending eyefortransport’s (EFT’s) 3PL & Supply Chain Summit in Atlanta, where 800 attendees will gather to network with the biggest names in supply chain and logistics.

This year’s event will feature a powerhouse of speakers, including industry leaders from UPS, Target, The Home Depot, Johnson and Johnson, Schenker AG and more. There will be talks from 80 executives, more than 100 educational sessions and six keynote speeches.

Among the speaker lineup will be a very special guest of ours: Erik Caldwell, Chief Operating Officer at GXO Logistics. On Wednesday, June 6 at 2 p.m., Erik and our co-founder and co-CEO Jerome Dubois will host a session to talk about how robotics can transform your supply chain. Erik will be drawing on his real experience using our robots, and he’ll be providing key takeaways for anyone interested in warehouse robotics automation.

Jerome will also be speaking on another panel at 3 p.m. on Thursday, titled “Robot Wars: NextGen Supply Chain Automation.” This panel will also feature participation from Fetch Robotics, inVia Robotics and NextShift Robotics.

If you’re planning to attend this year’s summit, come visit us at Booth #6. Our team will be there to answer any questions you have about our robot Chuck. Or stop on by just to chit chat.

Solving big problems with robotics is our passion. And we’d like to invite you to be a part of it.

We’re excited to sponsor and host the next meetup of the Boston Autonomous Vehicles group on Thursday, April 26, at our Waltham warehouse. Our co-founder and CTO Chris Cacioppo and Head of Robotics Dan Winkler will be talking about the challenges autonomous robots face in distribution centers, and how we’re solving them with our innovative warehouse robot Chuck. Chris will talk about robotics, computer vision, object detection and simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM). The attendees will also get the chance to meet Chuck.

“Come learn how robots localize themselves using advanced Monte Carlo Localization,” Chris said. “We’ll provide relatable concepts everyone can understand, and then dive deeper into the algorithms.”
